Educational innovation in teacher training at the Nuestra Señora de la Merced Villa el Salvador institution, 2020

The present research aimed to determine the level of the influence of educational innovation in the teacher training of the Institution Nuestra Señora de la Merced Villa el Salvador, 2020.
The type of study is descriptive, correlational, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The information was collected in a specific period, which was developed by applying the questionnaire instrument for both variables with a Likert scale, applied to the study sample who provided information about the study variables and their dimensions, the results of which were They present graphically and verbatim, who participated in the questionnaire, were all the actors involved from the Educational Institution Nuestra Señora de la Merced,
The results obtained allowed us to observe that 29.73% of those surveyed perceive a level of always with respect to the educational innovation variable, 57.66% present a level of almost always and 12.61% a level sometimes. Likewise, it is observed that 33.33% of the respondents perceive a level of always with respect to the variable teacher training, 55.86% have a level of almost always and 10.81% a level of sometimes. Regarding the verification of the hypothesis, it was obtained that the educational innovation variable positively influences the teacher training variable according to the Spearman correlation of 0.690, representing this result as moderate with a statistical significance of p = 0.001 being less than 0.01. Therefore, the main hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected.
