Educational management plays a decisive role in the quality of school services; however, there are gaps in its implementation in the private sector. The objective of this research was to analyze the situation of educational management in private educational institutions in UGEL 07 in Metropolitan Lima. To this end, a quantitative approach was applied in a basic, non-experimental, simple descriptive sub-design research study, in which 120 teachers participated. Among the results, it was identified that 75% are at a medium level of educational management and 25% at a low level, with no records of high levels, providing information on the lack of outstanding performance, a situation that is repeated with regard to the dimensions of comprehensive training and institutional support. In addition, with regard to the strategic management dimension, 65% were observed to be at a medium level and 35% at a low level. It was concluded that there is a deficit of outstanding performance in educational management, suggesting the need to implement improvement plans focused mainly on the strategic dimension.
